Upload a Suppression

External files may be uploaded for use as suppressions.

File Prep

The file must be in .csv format. The Address, City, State, and Zip fields are required. Only include name and address fields.


Upload File

  1. From the Agency Dashboard, select "Upload Suppression"
  2. Alternately, navigate to "Agency Admin", select "Agency Suppressions" and click "Upload Suppression"
  3. Select the client for the suppression file and click "Submit". Each file must be associated with a specific client.
  4. Browse for the file and click "Submit"
  5. Map the fields in the file to the system fields and click "Submit". Only include name and address fields. It is best to map all name and address fields for suppression flexibility. 
  6. Confirm file has been uploaded. CASS Verified refers to the number of records verified as a proper address according to CASS. Files with less than 75% of the records passing CASS will be rejected. 
  7. The file is now available for suppression on counts
